Brochure release: “The Cost of Adjunctification”

September 29 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

This brochure examines the growing reliance on contingent academic labour within higher education and argues that adjunctification represents a fundamental contradiction between universities’ commitments to equity and their employment practices. Using the BPMH program as a case study, it demonstrates how decades of innovative teaching, mentorship, and community-building by contingent faculty remain institutionally undervalued. It calls for a renewed commitment to dignified academic labour as an essential foundation for educational excellence.

Pick up one of these limited-edition brochures, created by the BPMH Task Force, at Room 320 in the Jackman Humanities Building.
